Hardware community privacy

What we collect
For the email list: your name, email address, signup time, the version of this notice you saw, and delivery or unsubscribe status. If you apply for the WeChat group, we also collect the profile, company, role, hardware, China and WeChat information you submit.
What we use it for
- Send hardware and China events, updates and introductions you asked to receive.
- Review your WeChat group application and manage the group.
- Prevent abuse, honor opt-outs and keep a record of consent.
Email updates are based on your consent. Application review, group safety and anti-abuse records are handled to run the community you asked to join and protect it. You can withdraw email consent through the unsubscribe link in every broadcast.
Who handles the data
We use Resend to manage contacts and send email, Supabase to store applications and consent records, and Vercel to run the form and review tools. These providers may process data in the United States under their data-processing and transfer terms.
The Shenzhen Robotics Association and a supporting VC may participate in the WeChat group or add you on WeChat. We do not give them the email address collected by this form. Anything you share with another member or through WeChat is governed by your choices and, where applicable, WeChat's own terms.
How long we keep it
We keep active mailing-list records while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe and are no longer in an active application or the group, we remove the application details after 12 months. We may keep a minimal opt-out or audit record where needed to honor your request or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw consent. Email hello@techbuzzchina.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
